Production
Thayer Coggin is known for its outstanding, high quality furniture. We go an extra step with our wood frames so that each joint is glued and doweled, and then stapled. If that is not enough we add screws to give the frame even more strength.
Our care in upholstery is exemplified by using the same person to upholster the entire piece instead of having one person do the inside and someone else do the outside. And if it is a sectional, the same person does all the pieces no matter how large a grouping.
Not only is Thayer Coggin a leader in design, but comfort as well. We use the highest quality cushioning products available. All polyurethane foams used in our seat constructions are environmentally safe and produced without the use of ozone destroying CFC's. These premium high density foams have been proven in laboratory tests and actual applications to be durable, versatile and comfortable.
Polyblendown: an innovative seat construction of feathers, down and polyester fiber wrapped around a polyurethane foam core. The feathers, down and polyester fiber are sewn into compartments to keep construction evenly distributed.
